Wireless Sensors

Up to 50 wireless sensors can communicate with a single Base Radio. Measurements include pressure, differential pressure, temperature, level, standard 4-20ma and voltage signals, contact closures, and a unique acoustic condition monitoring module. All sensors are intrinsically safe for easy application in hazardous areas and are rated for -40 •C to +85 •C operation. Each is battery operated with an unsurpassed battery life of up to 5 years. A very low power LCD screen is always on for local viewing of the process variable and each unit can be configured from two simple front-panel push buttons.

Base Radio / Base Radio with Logger

The Field Port™ Base Radio or Base Radio Logger is the heart of the Wireless Measurement System. It communicates wirelessly with up to 50 Field Port™ Wireless Sensors through a secure and reliable RF communications protocol and can easily send the real-time data to existing SCADA systems, RTUs or other HMI monitors through wired connections, radio or satellite systems. The Base Radio with Logger provides up to 2 GB of removable local storage on a standard compact flash card. It is rated explosion proof for hazardous areas and operates over -40 •C to +85 •C.

In conjunction with highly accurate calibration equipment, our staff has been trained in the proper use of these instruments and the importance of accuracy during the calibration process. Even after calibration is complete, our Quality Control procedures dictate that the gauge must meet our minimum requirements during the curve fit or it will be rejected, re-inspected, repaired and recalibrated.
